  • Tax Credit Lease Rider Has Been Updated 
    We've added new language specifying that owners must provide specific, factual violation reasons on any termination or non-renewal notices they provide to residents. A letter with more information as well as a revised copy of the lease rider will be mailed to all owners and copied to property managers - look for it in the mail soon!

  • Tax Credit FAQ updated with new topics, check them out!

  • Calculating Assets and Farmworker training videos for our stakeholders!  The Compliance Division has just completed two new training videos, one on Farmworker household Certification, and a two-part overview of assets calculation and verification.  We hope these will be good introductions to these topics for staff new to household qualification (and maybe even for seasoned folks!).  Please watch the videos and give us your feedback on them by sending us an email at AskusCo@wshfc.org.   • Tax Credit Compliance Manual revised as of July 2008. Many of the chapters have policy and procedure changes that are summarized in a revisions memo. The Online version features bookmarks for each chapter and the opportunity for you to find/search for topics. We encourage you to print it out directly from the website if you need a hardcopy version.  (7/08)

  • Compliance and Preservation Events Calendar has added web & audio conferences (WEB) grant, award, or funding notices (Grant/Award/Funding) and featured events (+++) symbols!  (5/08)

  • Recertification Waiver Now Available for Qualifying Properties!
    If you are interested in learning more, please read Chapter 12 – Recertification Waiver, and all attached forms, in the Tax Credit Compliance Manual.  (5/07)

  • Post-Year 15 Monitoring Procedures Now Available
    Tax credit properties approaching the end of their initial 15-year compliance period may apply for streamlined reporting requirements after Year 15.  Click on the link above to view our new Training Video on Post-Year 15 requirements!
