If you own a home that is involved in foreclosure proceedings because of the financial impacts of COVID-19, you may be eligible for up to $60,000 in federal assistance through a new federal program. Not in foreclosure, but trying to avoid it? The hotline can help you, too -- call today.

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission, a state agency, is administering this program across the state in partnership with the nonprofit HomeSight. It is part of the Homeowner Assistance Fund of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), created to help homeowners impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

AVOID SCAMS — Many bad actors try to take advantage of homeowners in trouble. Don’t pay anyone who offers to help you for a fee. Call the state Homeownership Hotline at 1-877-894-4663 for safe, free support.
