  1. Question: The fair value analysis has been indicated as being needed on a quarterly basis, would the MSR pricing grid be needed at the same regularity? Or would it be preferred on a monthly basis?
    Answer: The flow MSR pricing (which is for new production) would be needed whenever there is a material change in the market that would impact the values. This means Washington State Housing Finance Commission may need multiple grids monthly. As for WSHFC’s single family existing servicing portfolio, an MSR valuation will be needed on a quarterly basis.
