2008 Application Packet

Dear Tax Credit Developer:   

The application packet material and other program information for participation in the 2008 federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program are now available.

The tax credit program is complex and requires careful attention to both federal and state requirements.  We strongly recommend you read the package in its entirety before you complete your application.  You can access the Commission website at www.wshfc.org/tax-credits for all application packet materials as well as detailed information on the program.  We encourage you to talk to tax credit staff about your project in advance of the application deadline.

Applications for our “competitive round” must be received by Thursday, January 17, 2008, at 5:00 PM.  An application that is not materially complete will not be considered.  Competitive applications received after this deadline will not be considered.

We are excited about partnering with you as we work toward providing housing where it is most needed.  I encourage you to call 206-464-7139 and speak to tax credit staff if you have questions.  And don’t forget to browse through our web site at www.wshfc.org/tax-credits for tax credit information and guidance.
