Income and Rent Limits for All Tax Credit and Bond Financed Properties

To determine the correct income limits for your project, first look up the Placed in Service Date (or Bond Closing Date, for bond-only projects) on the Tax Credit Projects and Placed-in-Service Dates (PDF) or the Bond Projects Closing Dates (PDF). Then review the applicable “Which Income Limits Do I Use?” document below to find out which limits apply to your project, based on the PIS (or Bond Closing) date.

Note: Properties with additional funding from other city, county, state, or federal affordable housing programs may be required to use lower rent and income limits. Please check the other funder websites for their limits. If you use WBARS, the WBARS system is set up to automatically apply the lowest applicable income/rent limit to each unit, based on your property’s participating funders and relevant income restrictions.
