Nominees must have been instrumental in creating or supporting affordable housing; implementing housing-related programs, innovative financing mechanisms, educational efforts; or, helping others solve housing problems. They must have actively made a commitment in the previous 12 months to address one or more of these needs. Awards will be announced at the Housing Washington 2009 conference reception in Spokane, Washington, on the evening of Tuesday, September 29, 2009.
