Summer Closing Cost ’17 Grant

The Washington State Housing Finance Commission is pleased to offer a special grant to celebrate the launch of our new Here to Home marketing campaign. The Here to Home Summer ’17 Grant, brought to you in partnership with Lakeview Loan Servicing, can help pay closing costs for a maximum of 230 households at up to $1,500 each.

Maximum Income Limits

An applicant’s Credit Underwriting Income must not exceed 80% of the applicable area median income (AMI) for the property’s location. For the following counties, 80% as been calculated as follows:

King/Snohomish $70,000

Clark/Island/Kitsap/Pierce/Skamania Thurston $55,000

San Juan/Skagit/Spokane/Stevens Whatcom $50,000

Asotin/Columbia/Cowlitz/Walla Walla/Yakima $40,000

All Other Counties $45,000

Program Eligibility

Must be used in conjunction with Commission’s First Mortgage and can also use the Commission’s Down Payment Assistance Programs.

This program is a grant and no repayment is required.

The Here to Home Summer ’17 Grant is a maximum of $1500. The $1500 grant can only be used towards closing costs (including pre-paids) and cannot be used towards the borrower’s minimum contribution or additional downpayment.
