The Employee of the Quarter can best be considered as a little lady with a big voice, as someone who possesses a heart of gold and a goofy sense of humor, a person who is a true team player as-well-as a good friend, and an individual who earns the respect and smiles of her fellow workers on a weekly, if not daily. A true gem in Finance Division’s crown, Frances Olaivar-VanderYacht.

Here is what some of her coworkers had to say about Frances:

  • She is not only a great co worker, but a valuable friend. Always by your side with an open heart and open mind, ready to help you deal with whatever life throws your way. Time and time again, she can be counted on for solid advice and priceless words of wisdom.
  • She is one who is not afraid to learn and take on new tasks. When we lost one of our former bond analysts, she stepped up to take on the Single Family bonds. Much has changed and things continue to change --- so exploring, learning, and researching is what she has done and continues to do. She will give her time and energy to finish jobs; staying very late nights as necessary to meet the excruciating deadlines in our department.
  • She is always willing to lend a hand to other folks that might need help. Always looking for a way to support the team as a whole. She is generous with her time and food!

Yes, Frances is truly dedicated to getting the job done, all the while seeing the value of levity in the otherwise routine, cyclical world of accounting. Frances is valued by her peers not only for her strong work ethic, but for her wisdom and camaraderie.
