Housing Washington 2008: Scholarships

Conference Scholarship Application

Housing Washington is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2008 conference. We're pleased to offer scholarships to members of the nonprofit community and individuals who otherwise would be unable to afford to attend.

Please follow these guidelines when applying:

Applicants should have extremely limited financial resources or work with an organization that has extremely limited financial resources.
No more than one individual from an organization may receive scholarship support, with one exception: if scholarships have been awarded to all viable candidates and funds are still available, a second participant may receive a scholarship.
Scholarships cannot be transferred or shared.
Your application is due by July 21, 2008 at 5:00 PM.

Scholarship recipients will be notified during the week of August 7. All applicants who meet the criteria, but do not receive a scholarship, will be eligible for the early registration fee of $210, however payment must be received by Friday, September 5, 2008. To be guaranteed a listing in the conference roster, your registration form must be received by Wednesday, August 27, 2008.

Conference program information will soon be available on this website. Registration brochures and online registration will be available in mid-June.

Conference presenters, the Washington State Housing Finance Commission and the Washington State Office of Community, Trade and Economic Development, are pleased to offer these scholarships, and wish to recognize our conference sponsors whose support enables us to expand this program.
